It’s a high-quality Colorado Springs apartment community designed especially with University of Colorado students in mind. The Lodges of Colorado Springs features a variety of spacious, furnished apartments and townhomes plus a full set of community features such as a 24-hour fitness center, luxury clubhouse and heated pool, all just minutes from campus by private shuttle bus.

Is The Lodges part of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs?

No. The Lodges of Colorado Springs is a privately owned and professionally managed community. Click here for more information about the management and ownership.

Can I live with friends, or can you match me with roommates?

You can select your roommate(s), or you can apply on your own and we can match you with other students. Applicants answer a short list of lifestyle questions to help in the matching process.

What are per-person contracts?

Instead of requiring all roommates to sign a joint lease, each person at The Lodges of Colorado Springs has their own individual contract, with one person per bedroom. This means you are only responsible for paying for yourself — not your roommates. Even if a roommate moves out or other bedrooms in your apartment are empty, you only pay the rate for your bedroom.

What is included in the installments?

Each resident at The Lodges of Colorado Springs pays a flat rate that includes:

  • Internet
  • In-unit laundry
  • Shuttle bus service to UCCS campus
  • Community features – fitness center, pool, etc.

What size are the apartments?

The spacious accommodations at The Lodges of Colorado Springs range from 1-bedroom apartments through 5-bedroom townhomes. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom and a large closet, and the four-bedroom townhomes also have an extra half-bath.

Are the apartments furnished?

The Lodges of Colorado Springs offers an optional furniture package for a small additional charge, which includes a full-size bed, dresser, desk and chair in each bedroom, plus a sofa, coffee table and entertainment stand in each living room. All furnished residences also include a counter stools for the kitchen island. To see a sample of the furniture and other finishes, please visit our model residences.

When do the contracts start and end?

The standard term is August 12, 2024 to July 21, 2025, with payments made in 12 equal installments. Limited alternate dates may be available; please inquire with our staff. Click here for a sample agreement.

Is a co-signer or financial guaranty required?

Within 7 days after a Housing Agreement is signed, each resident is required to provide a qualifying guarantor (often a parent).  However, a resident may choose to prepay the final 2 installments and request a waiver of this guarantor requirement.  In limited cases, we may also waive the guarantor requirement if a resident has sufficient income of their own.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes. Residents can pay online 24 hours per day, by credit card or ACH electronic checking. The Lodges of Colorado Springs also offers automatic payment by either credit card or checking account — just fill out one page, one time and payments will be made automatically. Convenience fees apply for credit card and debit card payments.

Will my financial aid cover charges at The Lodges of Colorado Springs?

Your living costs at The Lodges of Colorado Springs can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. Any available financial aid funds, after university charges are satisfied, are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at The Lodges. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.

Is The Lodges open to non-students?

Nearly all the residents at The Lodges of Colorado Springs are students at University of Colorado Springs and the per-person contracts are also designed with students in mind. Residents/families with children are welcome. There is no extra cost for minor children in the care of adult residents, other than regular charges for each bedroom space selected by the resident. A minor occupying a bedroom space rented by a parent, guardian or person with legal custody is not considered a breach of the Housing Agreement or a violation of the rules. The Lodges is an Equal Opportunity housing provider and welcomes applications from non-students. In order to match student roommates in shared apartments, we will request roommate consent for any non-student occupants.

What kind of safety and security are provided?

The Lodges of Colorado Springs has a monitored fire sprinkler system, plus electronic locks and individually locking bedroom doors. Community courtesy patrols are provided at select times. Management staff are also on-site 24×7 and can be reached by a 24-hour phone number.

What are the policies on pets, smoking and guests?

The Lodges of Colorado Springs is pet friendly, subject to limits on animals and breeds. The community is smoke-free in all indoor and adjacent areas. Guests are welcome at all times, subject to the consent of roommates and security considerations. Overnight guests are welcome, with limits on the number of days and guests.

Can I park my vehicle at The Lodges?

The Lodges of Colorado Springs offers plenty of free parking for residents. Limited guest parking is also available at no charge.

What other transportation options will I have?
